It's not a horrible idea to possibly be able to switch in game by going to options. But to have a third person mode I would say no. the population for that would be very small and bungie would probably eventually get rid of the playlist that supports it. But to have it an option in game while playing; it may be interesting to see. Then again it could BOMB! Not sure what to think about it really....

There sould be no Third-person in Halo Reach. Halo games are meant to be First-person. Ya it sounds good but it should be First-person so u can feel like you're Noble 6.

that is true that it would be a lot like MW2 but if u r comparing halo to MW then u should not be playing halo

In my opinion I don't like third person at all it's really annoying and distracting so I would say no to the whole third person idea but on the other hand there are people who enjoy so I think they should keep halo reach just like the other halo games before it as the first person game we love but also give the option to those who prefer third person to be able play that way so over all keep first person but also give some kind of option menu to swap to third person and everybody wins and everybodies happy !

I think it should be base on items or other things like you only in 3rd person if you have a grave hammer or energy sword or jetpack.

Yes and no I have james camerons avatar the game and i like the 3rd person gears of war type style but u should have a choice not just 3rd person though I would be happy with both but i'd prefer 1st person

I personally like third person games better, but i thnk halo is a unique first person shooter thats up there with call of duty, medal of honor, and batllefield. If halo was to go third person i think it would loose many players, but adding third person on the menu as a veiw option wouldnt be that bad.

i think they should do the same thing in H3 and just go 3rd-pv when u pick up like a turret or something big basically.
